is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor
to support our client’s established mining operation in the Northern Territory
.
This position will see you working closely with site managers and employees, delivering a broad range of HR generalist services. You’ll gain valuable exposure to all aspects of site-based HR, with the opportunity to make a genuine impact on workforce outcomes and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for operational and professional roles
- Provide timely advice on employee relations and HR policy matters
- Support site leaders with performance management and case management processes
- Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and workforce metrics
- Assist in the delivery of employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, enterprise agreements, and company policies
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (Diploma minimum)
- Demonstrated experience in a HR Advisor or HR generalist role (mining, construction, or heavy industry highly regarded)
- Working knowledge of Australian employment law and IR frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and provide practical HR advice
- Organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a site-based environment
