has multiple exciting opportunities for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our client’s teams across Darwin and the NT.
We are seeking trade-qualified fitters with strong backgrounds in heavy machinery, plant maintenance, marine/industrial equipment, and light vehicles. These roles offer a mix of casual ongoing and permanent opportunities, with immediate starts available.
Job Details Roles Available:
Farm Site – Middle Point
, NT
(Casual Ongoing)
- Location: Anzac Parade, Middle Point NT 0836 (Approx. 1-hour drive from Darwin)
- Start Time: 6:30 AM (up to 10 hours per day)
- Roster: Monday to Friday (4-day working week option)
- Pay Rate: $60 per hour – flat rate
- Focus: Farm machinery, gensets, pumps, fixed plant maintenance
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (38-hour week)
- Additional: Frequent weekday overtime + Saturday half-days
- Focus: Drivetrain overhauls, bearings & seals, fitting & machining, marine & industrial projects, potential supervisory tasks
- Note: Sponsorship is not available. Applicants must have full Australian working rights.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $50 per hour – flat rate
- Focus: Light vehicles (utes), loaders, forklifts, and gensets – servicing, repairs, and maintenance
- Immediate start, local candidates only
- Trade qualified Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, or Mechanical Fitter
- Minimum 5+ years post-trade experience
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and auto electrical fault finding
- Skilled in fixed plant, gensets, pumps, farm machinery, and mechanical repairs
- Marine/industrial fitting and machining highly regarded
- Competent with automotive air conditioning
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- HR Licence or current Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Toyota Light Vehicles – Petrol and Diesel
- Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Acco
- Kubota and Case Tractors
- Forklift repairs and maintenance
- Sykes Diesel Pumps
