is currently seeking a Sales Consultant
with a background in the construction industry to join a growing team in Darwin, NT
.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term career progression into a Store Manager role. Working closely with the Director, you’ll gain valuable business, sales, and leadership experience – with training and support provided for the right candidate.
This opportunity would ideally suit someone with a trade background who is looking to get off the tools and grow into a leadership position, while continuing to stay hands-on and client-facing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite quoting and prepare accurate estimates for commercial/residential projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support daily operations, materials management, and customer enquiries.
- Assist with new business development.
- Learn and support broader store management functions over time.
- Use systems and quoting software to track and manage jobs.
- Background in sales or estimating, ideally in a construction or trade-based environment.
- Sound understanding of construction project flow and materials.
- Great communication skills and confidence dealing with clients.
- A trade background is highly regarded – perfect for someone looking to transition off the tools.
- Motivated, team-first mindset with leadership aspirations.
- Current driver’s licence.
