About the role:
CELOTTI Workforce is currently seeking a Project Engineer based in Darwin. This role is responsible for assisting the region to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, from quote to invoice with a high technical standard and meet all contractual and regulatory requirements.
key responsibilities will include:
  • Coordination and successfully execution of each project.
  • Coordination and execution of individual project-related activities including delivery of the engineering, procurement, construction, commission & completions and handover activities.
  • Assisting others to monitor compliance with time, cost progress, quality and performance components of each job using company processes and procedures for the effective and timely delivery of each service project.
  • Assisting others to establish resources (equipment and labour) to comply with the contractual requirements of the projects.
  • Assisting others with financial management of the projects.
  • Assisting others to development of mechanical and hydraulic drawings, procedures, manuals, specifications and general engineering documents.
  • Assisting others to development, review, negotiation, technical and commercial administration of contracts and suppliers agreements; referencing delivery, risk, issues, standards, schedules and deliverable and commercial considerations.
  • Purchasing, expediting and inspecting purchased material to ensure quality control and conformance to specifications.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This position is mainly based at our Darwin Branch, but may require local, intrastate, interstate or international travel to a Client’s office, production facility or industrial/construction job site.
Conditions may vary at each location, but as listed below are generally representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position:
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 kilograms.
  • When required to perform outside Pressure Dynamics premises, appropriate safety training and safety equipment will be provided by Pressure Dynamics and/or Client as required.
  • Appropriate PPE will be provided for the employee.
  • Overtime may be necessary as work load’s dictate. This may include weekdays, weekends and/or public holidays.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Tertiary Diploma
  • Experience in Installation, Maintenance and Repair (IMR)
  • Hydraulic system and rotating equipment commissioning and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience in technical document writing including work packs
  • Planned and unplanned maintenance coordination experience
  • People with former trade background encouraged to apply
