About the role:

CELOTTI Workforce is currently seeking a Regional Manager to join the company based in Darwin, NT. The position involves reporting to the Operations Director directly, you will be responsible for leading and managing the operations of the branch within the NT region, lead sales activities, client interface management, client support services and maximising the long term profitability of the business.

Key accountabilities include: 
  • Lead, develop, mentor and motivate a superior team capable of dealing with growth, operational challenges, and industry dynamics. 
  • Leverage a best practice approach in delivering services, products, and equipment to all customers and ensure that the NT branch is adopting the same discipline and structure to managing and reporting on its operations as those required by Corporate. 
  • Manage and maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers. 
  • Monitor, maintain and manage customer service excellence across the region and at branch level. 
  • Lead the branch resources, to effectively align operating costs and sales revenue to manage operations within agreed budgets. 
  • Accept overall accountability for the budget preparation, management, profit performance, meeting KPIs, P&L and operating costs in line with corporate/business requirements. 
  • Adopt a proactive approach to business compliance and safety by implementing corporate requirements and monitoring management plans, policies, risk assessment procedures and related actions. 
  • Work closely with the sales teams to ensure the effective management of new and existing customer accounts across the business. 
  • Assist with the implementation of the strategic plan and integrate this with the operational function of the business. 
  • Lead budget preparation with the Financial Controller.  
  • Work with the Operations Director and business line managers to ensure effective account management across the regions. 
  • Monitor and manage labour and logistics to ensure appropriate priority and controls are in place to meet business needs. 
  • Attract, manage and retain a competent team to meet business requirements. 
Skills, qualifications, and experience
To be considered for the position, you will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or similar (desirable) 
  • Management experience in the oil & gas sector (highly desirable) 
  • Proven capability at a Management level within an industrial services business 
  • A background and depth of experience in strategic and tactical level operations 
  • Experience in working in a regional area (desirable) 
  • Experience in working in a multi-branch environment with centralised supporting/shared services model. 
  • Strong strategic capability and resilience with the tenacity to pursue goals and targets, especially in challenging market conditions. 
  • Intellectual ability and analytical skills with a proven ability to understand complex business issues and make robust decisions, often under pressure. 
  • Leadership qualities and a genuine desire to coach and develop talent at all levels throughout the business. 
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and engage effectively with a diverse array of people, across all functional levels and build successful working relationships
